ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

(a) Perform a diagnostic system check SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: AIRBAG SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 Sequoia) .

(b) With the front seat side airbag installed on the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects as mentioned below, replace the front seat with a new one:

Cuts, small cracks or marked discoloration on the front seatback around the front seat side airbag.
